On January 12, Haiti experienced a 7.0 earthquake with thousands feared dead and extensive destruction in the Port-au-Prince area.

East York community members are organizing a fundraiser for Canadian Feed The Children's work in Haiti.

Bring your friends and family to the Have a Heart for Haiti fundraiser and enjoy a silent auction, a bite to eat, or a cocktail, while dancing to live music by Playback.

Organizers are requesting a donation of $25 or more at the door.  Canadian Feed the Children will provide a tax receipt for donations over $10.

Canadian Feed The Children will provide urgently-needed support to the victims of Haiti’s earthquake in the form of food, water and medical supplies. Long after the dust settles and the camera crews have gone, Canadian Feed The Children will remain in Haiti as families work to rebuild lives and their communities. Canadian Feed The Children has been on the ground in Haiti for more than 12 years, working through local community partners in the sectors of health care, nutrition, education, income generation and shelter. Your support today will ensure that Haitians will have the tools they need to move on from this tragedy and make a brighter and sustainable future for their children.
